you and I are going to a concert soon. ive known for a while that this particular show is going to be hard on me emotionally. many of the songs on the set list are tied to bad memories or people who have hurt me greatly.
we sat down today and made bracelets to hand out at the show. we talked, we laughed, and I havent felt this light in a while.
you're helping me rewrite the memories of these songs. and you dont know how much that means to me. this is my favorite artist, and I dont want to have to skip a song because it hurts to listen to.
thank you for being such a good friend to me. thank you for listening to me, for not judging me and for being there for me whenever I need someone to lean on.
