My world revolves around you. My planets orbit you like Saturn’s rings. They orbit you like the sun.
You are all around my life. I walk into Walmart and I remember your scent even though I don’t know what you smell like.
I play the games we used to play together. I play them with others and it doesn’t bring half the joy as playing it with you.
I bake macaroni and I remember it being your favorite thing to eat at work. I repeat our inside jokes that are only funny to me.
Your laugh echoes through mine. Your words echo through mine as well.
Every love song is about you. Every letter, every note, every post. It’s all for you. I think of you.
This pit of yearning in my gut is for you. My life is all yours.
You’re everywhere. You’re everywhere but nowhere in sight.
