I am realising that it’s always just been words with you. It’s never action. When you feel me pulling away and starting to move on you suggest doing something small together …. But we don’t end up doing those things do we? You assure me that you do want to , you’re just busy .

The rose-coloured glasses are coming off. You mostly ignore me around other people but say the sweetest things to me when they’re not around. Or maybe they just feel sweet because you’re cold.
That flicker of warmth just doesn’t do what it used to anymore. You say it’s not just physical for you , and you’re right about us not having done anything physical yet, but I still don’t believe you. I’m honestly thinking my heart is finally starting to agree with my brain - enough is enough. I’m closer to done with you than I’ve ever been.
