Hi, I have a few things to get off my chest.
I notice that when you’re mad at me, your eyes start to wonder. It’s almost like you’re like for your next “victim”. Someone to numb the pain while healing your bruised ego.
One thing about me is I don’t sugar coat ****. I’m going to tell you about yourself especially when it’s directly related to me or our kids. We are a unit. If you look bad, we all look bad. You’re the head of the household, like you always say. So be that! I’ve throw on the red carpet before you feet and treat you like a King. What more can I do to assist you in handling your responsibilities as an adult?
I do love you. I really do. That’s why I am willing to put up with so much but it comes to a point. It’s getting toxic, the old feelings are starting to come back from when we used to fight all the time and I don’t like it. When we get like this it makes me feel very uneasy and super insecure. I start comparing myself to all these other girls that I feel like are more your type. It’s hard to escape those thoughts when the past is right on my tail, always reminding me of what could happen again.
There are moments where I feel like you’ve grown and you’ve changed. And then there are moments where I see the old you start to peek through. That has me on edge all the time and I start to stop caring a defense mechanism. Why? Because I won’t be as hurt if something does happen if I stop feeling right now.
I want this to work. I want our kids to be happy. I want to feel content and safe when I’m with you.
