Dear Friend,
The world outside is so dangerous and not kind. The ugliness is so heavy on my heart. I miss you dearly And the safety you afforded me during my lonesome battle upon these lands. The solace you provided feels so far, so distant and I’m desperate to feel your embrace for one more moment. I continue to fight the Good fight spreading my kindness and empathy to those who do and do not deserve such things, but I will continue on this journey. I can only hope my journey leads to comfort in your arms once again one day, my friend.
I do hope you will come to forgive my moment of discomfort in the past, please do not let that moment overshadow all the joy you brought to my life over these years. Next month it will be a decade we have known one another, celebrated each other, supported each other. Shared passion and fire together. shared the cool breeze of fall and cold nights of winter together. Winter is coming and I do hope the winter winds bring you to me once again.
Could we perhaps have an evening of friendship, offer each other some merriment and a splash of color in this desolate land soon, next week perhaps. There is a giant you shaped ache in the place you left from my soul. You are missing from me. I long to find you and all we shared once again even if for a moment in time.
