Did you miss me? Have you thought of knowing what I am doing lately?
We used to update each other on what was happening to us every single day. Now, my phone is completely quiet, and it feels strange not telling you about my day, or hearing about yours.
I know why we stopped. I know our differences felt too heavy, and I know you needed to step away. But the habit of you hasn't left me yet. Every time something happens, my first instinct is still to reach for my phone and type a message to you.
I don't know what else to say, or how to bridge the gap between us. I just wanted to put this out into the universe because I can't send it to you: I'm still here. And I’m still waiting.
