Rš, I read something on the Gottman site about soulmates today. Itās well written but it goes against your narrative of what compatibility is and how heavy focus on it leads to an unhealthy relationship dynamic.
What we had and still could have shouldāve been held onto, we both should have done better to listen to each other that day (most of that is on me and I take full responsibility for that). We have what others wish so desperately to find for themselves so why throw it away over petty issues.
Weāre soulmates and nothing worth having in this life is easy and takes effort to maintain but the love and respect is there, the happiness is there, or it would be if you were not so stubborn.
