Stop walking to the station with us, stop getting the same train as us there’s one every 10 minutes, stop appearing in the kitchen as soon as I’m in there, stop cornering me and forcing me to make conversation, stop using the toilets furthest from your office so you have to walk past mine. I’ve been polite and I’ve been courteous in the hope you’d stop lingering but you’re just continuing to ruin my day every day and I want you to leave me alone. I don’t care to see old cinema stubs I don’t want to have any memory that’s associated with you I just want it wiped clean. Every time I’m at work I’m filled with dread knowing you’ll just appear. You chose for us to no longer be a part of one another’s lives when you refused to apologise so please just leave me alone.
