Unsent text message to Kylie

My family members started looking at your profile recently, and told me out of the blue, "They got with a person who looks like you if they were fat and ugly." I understand they were probably just trying to cheer me up, even though I WAS FINE.

However, it had me lost deep in thought. Couldn't you just make that…

Because now I know we really cannot work and never will.

I don't hate you. In fact, this Columbus Day 2026, I feel sad knowing that there is no chance for us.

I think that, it seems, you asked that we start sleeping together again. I'd want that, if we knew how to get along when we're not in bed. It'd be another cycle…

You had a 100 reasons to leave,

But I had 1,000 reasons for you to stay.

I can hate you as much as I want for how it ended but for another second of those eyes and that smile I would do it all again.

Is it really that easy? Where did I park my car? Seriously?

I’m scared that the days without you are becoming more than the days with you.
