It’s the “really” part that got me when you said it. It was as if to say: I’m only “part cheater.” Well, a part cheater equals a whole cheater, and you certainly demonstrated the truth of that statement. It’s not only the cheating that gets to me, it’s the fact that you were always broke for me yet apparently not for any of the girls you were taking on dates behind my back. It’s all so clear to me now. Unfortunately, for me, I was so tied up in the drama of my daughter missing school and all the other daily stressors of my life and my health problems that I didn’t see the snake slithering about my own home. Needless to say, while you’re now running around with the girl that you were with at the end of our relationship, I’m still single trying to recover from the betrayal and the pain that you inflicted while calling me your sweetest angel and giving me that fake-*** Magnum PI smile. I now wish that I wasn’t so nice to you, but there’s no changing the pure of heart. Too bad you’re not that. But I have peace with myself and you don’t, and that is why you’re constantly existing in a cloud of pot smoke.
